Sired by International Champion, Magnum Psyche, the most record setting, record producing and record breaking stallion of all time, and out of the aristocrat mare, RD Bey Shahmpane (Bey Shah x Bey Shahdar by Bey Shah) dam of several champions, including US National Champion, Enzo, Shahmpane is thought by many to be the all time best producing Bey Shah daughter ever.  Maranello, a Halter Champion in his own right, is now proving himself as the sire his pedigree all but guaranteed he should be, and much more, with his 3rd foal crop just arriving this year, and his oldest just two, 100% shown to-date have been Halter Champions, from the Open, Class A and Regional Level, and they are only just beginning.  Chosen to be the next step in our breeding program in 2003, Maranello is now proving to be an amazing cross onto our Blue and Shalako daughters, but more importantly even, we now see the consistency with which he is producing on mares of all lineage, including non-Arabian mares, further validating what we believed to him to be upon acquisition.

The enthusiasm and excitement with which he is being received by small breeders all across the United States and Canada is overwhelming and the support from those who have chosen him for their mares, heart warming.  Maranello is not just an exceptionally exotic stallion, exhibiting an exquisite head, beautiful big warm eyes, ears that almost join set tightly a top his head, a long, high set hooky neck, a strong shoulder, short back, and big powerful hip, with legs a mile long, truly 16 plus hands, he is a huge, powerful, fluid and balanced mover, with a charisma and personality that wins over literally everyone that lays eyes on him.  As exciting as he is in his own right, he is now proving that he is producing himself time and time again, resulting in foals who are described in much the same manner.  We will forever be grateful to David Boggs and Team Midwest, for the opportunity to bring this amazing young stallion into our home and hearts, for their assistance and support in launching this great stallion’s show career and initial promotion, and for the privilege of letting us be his keeper, allowing him to be available to small breeders everywhere.
